Love street shots JVA and those are really good...I'd love to see more street shooters here!

Just excellent Micro...and such a little cutie too!

blan01 -That cat and his eyes are just superb! Could I make a suggestion to you ...and others that post no introduction, no information and no commentary. It is hard to reply to shots that are just dragged and dropped. Give us something to respond to, unless of course, you do not want any feedback? When I don't want to "get involved" I just post shots in my galleries where they can rest in peace all alone.
Thanks!

This little Spanish dove wanted her few seconds of K1 fame...so here it is!

I discovered something important....I've been shooting my Bigma 50-500 with both OS and SR turned on...for I don't know how long. I know better so it was an accident. Turned the OS off and now my focus has improved greatly.....even like the little dove above at 1/80 handheld @ 500mm. Maybe Mrs Rupert is right.....I'm not the sharpest tack in the box when it comes to photography!

Regards!

Just got older SMC 28mm f/3.5. I am blown away with a quality of this lens. Even wide open still very sharp. This lens goes everywhere with me.
With K-1 this will make awesome landscaping combo.

K-1 with SMC 28mm f/3.5 ISO-100, 1/40 sec, f/3.5.

Good idea - and here stupid me is wondering why the birds fly away when I hardly get close...

I'm curious to know the results of SR on and OS off vs SR off and OS on. Could you try this if you haven't already and let us know your thoughts?

The humble FA50/1.4

I have quite a few 50mm lenses and despite what some say about the 50mm, that its soft, its old, its not silent, I just feel that there is very little out there that balances the OOF rendering, size and being sharp where it counts.

One of the best 50mm out there.

Ok, no one can claim the K-1 AF is on the level of D5 and the other big boys. BUT if you know and understand how the Pentax AF works, it works good. I hardly notice any problems, and i work in hard lights most of the time. This is the norwegian black metal band Tsjuder from yesterday evening. Taken with K-1 (of course) and 70-200 at 1/320, F/2.8 and ISO6400.

Thanks Ariis: Its a single shot: Processed in ACR/CS. The Exif is 15mm F/4 1/160th iso3200 and -2EV bias to save the highlights.

Ambush bug, a deep crop so It could (should?) have been taken with my K3 to get greater pixel density, but I used the tilt-screen.

Yes....When I got the new model Bigma with HSM/OS I shot several days using only OS and then only SR. While both results were good, the SR was a little faster and a little better after repeated testing.......so I prefer the Pentax SR in the K1. Having both on was my accidental mistake, and it does cause real problems.

Love that one...looks like a little turtle! Nice shooting!

I'm re-posting this one....it was posted here a couple pages back at the insistence of this squirrel wanting to warn people not to try this at home due to potential severe injury.
This morning I received a reply in another thread where it was also posted that it did save a man....

This was from a Veteran Member we would not want to lose!

"And thank you for posting the up side down squirrel. I was just about to go down a fir tree head down."

Read more at: https://www.pentaxforums.com/forums/10-pentax-slr-lens-discussion/132843-boke...#ixzz4Hye6XNSY

So once again a public service message that might save another life!

"Don't try this at home!"

Best Regards!
