First time I have ever seen one of these in my hometown. And all of a sudden they are everywhere. And collegues at work say the same, "never seen them before but they are everywhere now"
That is a pretty butterfly. There have been pronounced changes in butterfly populations during my life. When I was a kid, monarchs and cabbage butterflies were abundant, but now both are just here-and-there, not quite rare, but far, far less common that I remember them being, and nothing has really replaced them.

That's a great action capture of the dogs. Single shot or high speed multi-exposure?
And I like the short-faced lizard. He looks quite menacing.

Same type of Stamen that a Hibiscus has, nice detail and crispness.

When the big dog squirrel catches this thief, he will be missing some important body parts!

That's a really nice set. The Sigma 18~35mm seems to deliver fine IQ and color consistently.
