Nice flower, but profoundly different from the plant called "milkweed" here (genus Asclepias). The common name of ours comes from the sticky, milky-white sap. Does your "milkweed" ooze similar goo when a stem is broken? I doubt very much that the two milkweeds are particularly closely related.

They were quite easy, but the amount of crop has a. reduced the resolution some what and b. got me thinking about taking advantage of this holidays' Ģ300 discount on a D-FA 150-450 at SRS Microsystems.

You won't regret that. I went the other way, bought the 150-450 first. Thought I might get by with my 60-250 but there's no comparison in sharpness, so now I'm just waiting for some discount on the 70-200.

On #4, I've seen a lot of photo's from your much coveted (by me) Soligor, and never noticed quite so much pincushion (?) distortion before. Is that because the camera is angled slightly up? Or do you normally correct for it in PP?
Just curious. (and I still covet your 20mm Hah! )

Thank you Eric ! There is no distortion, it is an old house. Or do you mean the perspective ? In FF mode the 20mm is very wide...

Yes it does, a bit like the Frangipani Tree does.
