Holiday? What is that Frederick? Is that something like a vacation? I've heard of those... been a while, but I seem to remember taking one once... *sigh*

Ok, I'll start writing... have fun!

Pretty, pretty, pretty. Really wonderful images of Northern Lights. The Sun must be active at the moment. BTW: As I recall, I learned about Oulu when way back I got a reprint request from someone at, as I recall, the University (College?) of Oulu. I might still have the envelope about somewhere as I kept it for a long time.

Oh and the cigarettes were her idea but I thought it went along with the 80's retro vibe.
Yep, it feels kind of weird to see the model with a cigarette. I can't remember when the last time I've seen that. Like it became big no-no in industry.

I see it all the time on 1X when I research portraiture. To me it's more of a prop that adds to the mood or atmosphere of the shot. Almost like holding a vintage camera. That being said I would never ask a non-smoker to pretend to be one.

Let her know we'd go over the edge with her anytime......with enough squirrels to catch her that she might not even get wet!

Thanks! Yeah, I have numerous images from this incident that are similar..... My first camera was K1000 and now I have a K1 I push my cameras to the limit in what I do and this was the first time I used the K1 at an incident. I have since used it again (But I can't post the images ) and the results were fantastic.... I'm a happy camper....

K-1 w/ FA 77 Limited

This young lady (Rockette) comes up to me and just stares, with head tilted, for as long as I'll hang with her. She has a baby in the hollow of an apple tree behind her:

The K-1 is really nice. (Rockette crop):

Did you pick up the K1 at a fire sale?
Sarcasm aside, that's a great image.
