Wonderful little birdie shot...just perfect! So glad you took my advice and gave the little fellow a great background!

Yep, you are really getting the hang of this photography stuff!

Great shots, everyone! Always inspiring! Rondec, the lightning image is amazing! I have yet to capture lightning. Fantastic!

I know of this cool gothic church building nearby and noticed using the PhotoPills app that the Milky Way appears right behind it. So, I decided to head over last night and try to get a shot of it. Unfortunately, they light the building up like a Christmas tree, so there was no way I could get a decent shot of the MW on site. This is a composite of the church and a Milky Way shot I took with the Astrotracer about 20 minutes later at a darker location.
That is great work doing a composite. A really eye-grabbing result.

The blacksmith is wonderful. Enormous amount of satisfying detail all around the image.

Thank you, Frederic and WPRESTO!

I agree, the blacksmith photo is fantastic. But all of your shots have a really nice quality about them. You have a unique style that is instantly recognizable, Frederic!

Wow! Wonderful!.......beats a handsome squirrel even......but don't mention I said it!

"That old guy is peeking out his windows again......maybe he's a pervert?"

"Turn your back, he'll lose interest."

"Look at that filthy little rodent over there...now that's what worries me!"

"Damn birds, their own shadow makes them paranoid."

Yep, bought my K1 for fun...and it delivers plenty!

Regards!

Thank you! It wasn't really work...just fun! Can you clarify your "good work" comment.....if it is mostly about that handsome squirrel, you might get a little bonus from Otis.....just guessing?

Regards!

Love the pose here....and the birdie.....it was underexposed and OOF a little....had to push it considerably, but I still like it...she is such a cutie!

My first attempt at photographing a humming bird. The original was way overexposed since I was shooting something in the shade. I reacted quickly to get the humming bird but forgot to adjust the shutter speed. But, I got the focus right and was able to salvage in Lightroom!

Only got my K-1 few days ago, so far happy only with one shot, rest are pretty much snapshots that I just take out of excitement of owning such a great camera.
