No...and I'm afraid to ask...but I will?

Thanks......according to the squirrels, my shots are mediocre at best.

Yeah. I agree. I don't know what it's like in Texas, but when I lived in Michigan, I could not buy bacon. They had a thing they called bacon, but it was just strips of fat.
That is just horrible! Surely there is some law being broken by depriving people there of real bacon?

Not K1 shots, but necessary to let people worldwide know they can come to Texas and get real bacon at millions of locations, 24/7 365, night or day!

Bacon and eggs...at every location that sells food in Texas...or at home anytime!

On your sandwiches.....wonderful!

With your soup...even if the soup is not too tasty...the bacon is!

...and the ultimate Texas bacon treat...shipped directly from heaven! Chicken Fried Bacon!

Sorry for the interruption, but real bacon must be defended anywhere it is in danger of being abused or denied.

Regards!

That's a great sequence. Even if the K1 is slower than a k3 for sequence shooting, it's obviously more than sufficient in this case.

Thanks WPresto! Coming from the K-5 Classic, this is still an upgrade for me in every way!

Thanks! Ditto! Nice capture as well...And yes, mother nature has her ways with color. Gotta get those bee's attention to come help cross pollinate!

Yes, it is the AF Superwide 11. In this picture, f8@350 you can see aperture reflections (no hood used), but the picture is not washed out. I like this lens.

Here is one straight out camera, 1/25@2.8 hand held

Thanks for the great info! I've been wanting a small, lightweight sharp, wide angle prime to keep in the bag with my K-1. My SMC M 35 F2.8 is very very good, just not quite as wide as I would like, and my SuperTak 17mm Fisheye is a little too wide to start, but ends up more like a 20mm by the time I de-fish it and then crop or fix the vignette, and then the corners end up not as sharp because of the manipulation. Like Goldilocks, I'm still looking for the porridge that is just right...

For a while I thought maybe it will be something like the Samyang 20mm if they ever get around to releasing it! I only wish it were A/F, and I have a feeling it won't be a small lens! Then I thought maybe I should just get an FA43 and start stitching panoramas? LOL! Your little Sigma might not be a bad compromise for it's size in my bag.
The only bad news is your not helping my LBA.

Knowing your awesome gourmet cooking skills...that is worrisome.

More fine shots FS...as always!...#3 takes my top vote....excellent and interesting too!

You shoot a lot in the Crop Mode.....which shows you are doing some of that Big Brain Thinking!

Here is one I shot in FF and then cropped away 75% of the frame....just took a little longer to process and I missed that big red frame lighting up when it hit proper focus..which was still instant on the big ol' slow Bigma!

Shots in this thread get better all the time! I need to catch up on my skills, but that is not likely!

Regards!

I think you are right.....out of the practice stage and off to some more serious shooting. If I wasn't so lazy I'd be more inclined to try and join in!

I have two broken feet and a bad knee...and some hemorrhoid problems too...but none of those things can match my desire to follow the path of least resistance!
Sitting at my desk and shooting out the windows is so easy! Once you get addicted it is hard to break the habit!

Regards!
