Pretty puppy. Aussie or mini-Aussie?

I'm away from Australia visiting family.

I have no real editing device with me except for rudimentary sw available via a tablet running Windows 10 - not mine to keep; as such I am posting in-camera jpeg output files only, with minor PP via Windows 'Photos'.

These were taken on an extremely dull day with threatening/arriving drizzle.

I don't know. She belongs to my neighbor. How big is an Aussie? Every time I go to take a shot she trots over to the step in front of the patio door.

Standard Aussie are over knee-high at their shoulders, maybe 50~75 lb range. Mini Aussies are less than knee high and probably under 30 pounds even in a large one. From the face, I'd guess either a mini Aussie or a standard Aussie puppy. Both breeds have very nice personalities, as do many of the herding dogs.

I fell in love with macro and K-1
Cheap extension tubes and reversed SMC Pentax-A 50mm f1.7 makes me so happy and all the bugs are running away from my garden
All handheld shots (1st one PShifted). Sorry for spamming photos. So happy.

Kimber is about 4 years old and comes up just below my knees. So maybe a mini Aussie?

Most likely. That would be very small for a standard Aussie. Of course every breed as good and bad individual dogs, but both sizes of Aussies tend to be smart, trainable, and friendly to gooey-affectionate..

Actually, I'm amazed too by the capabilities of K-1's PShift, because it's a very very strong crop.

That looks like it came right out of an art studio! I like the idea and execution very much.

You are off to a great start, heck you look like an old pro already. Glad to see another convert. I am finding you "almost" don't need a macro lens to do macro with the K-1

Frederick - You make me sick... sick of being at work when I could be out playing with my K-1 like you! LOL!
Another great set,

David - Don't those K-1 JPG just suck? Hah! Great JPG's, good job making due while away. You just keep on ignoring those silly reviewers and posting those great JPG's.
