I spotted a pair of eyes glaring back at me from a tree hollow on my walk into the city from North Adelaide:

Pentax 150-450, which has a sharpness and incredible color looks a dedicated macro.

What a curious thing to find on a beach. Being metal, and very heavy, it must have entered the water or sand very close to where you found it. Is there a pier or some kind of loading facility nearby?
