The DA55-300PLM doesn't reach the FF image circle at all focal lengths. Aperture is also a strong influence. At some FL-aperture-combinations my raw converter can get rid of the vignetting. At others vignetting and image circle cast is very strong. Especially at 70 up to 120mm. Beginning at 135mm its getting better and better. I posted some indicators at open aperture
here.
The last images I posted in this K-1 thread are mostly taken at the long end and using the DA TC1.4 (not FF compatible!) to get up to 420mm optically. As you can see I had to crop only a little bit. To show how much, I added it as a comment.
Because I always shoot raw and develop in Capture One cropping and devignetting isn't a big deal. In the future I'll generate some cropping and devignetting presets or even LCC-profiles. Then it's getting even easier to work out the pictures properly.
I'll show DA55-300PLM pictures mainly on the K-1, bokeh and maybe the 300mm plus club thread. If I want to point out a special aspect I write it as a comment. In conclusion I'd say it's worth using DA55-300PLM in FF mode as it is for the DA15 with square crop. ;-)
