Amen, That's an unusual, and therefore exceptional image.

Ok, now that is just showing off Amazing shot. Those little flighty things are so hard to get to stay put, I am blown away by your timing that one. Great pic! Eric
I appreciate the kind comments and likes - thank you all.
The little bugger only hung around for a few seconds and I took a handful of shots - most not in focus - a couple where the wings were on the downswing, which makes it look unappealing - so this was really the only keeper.

Love this!
We may not have the Grand Canyon, etc, but England can throw up some of it's own, unique, kind of picturesque-ness, can't it?

Meanwhile here's an Italian Beach (K30/2.8):

Excellent photo! That area looks ripe for more photos (e.g., at the right time of year, the sun will be directly behind that lone tree on the center right and something like a 75mm to 150mm lens would get a great portrait of it with the sky and rippled water.)

(P.S. Methinks Luna is happy to be out but wondering why you spend so much time petting that strange black-headed, three-legged creature.)

To give relief from images of towering red-rock cliffs, here are some painted images, general view and close up of an especially interesting one. In the general view you can identify a hunter, or perhaps warrior apparently throwing a spear. The close up is an image called "circle of friends." A ring of people holding hands, with one an individual at the top who is much smaller than all the others, perhaps a child during part of a coming-of-age ceremony? No one knows for certain.

Wow...these are really nice. I would be all over the 15-30 if it wasn't so expensive.
