I didn't notice the halo until I had posted. Normally I would use the PS clone tool to get rid of it and I should have deleted the post until that had been done, but I was lazy last night.

Thanks for the clarification.

From your reply I take it this was shot in JPG format.
If so, WPRESTO, I have to severely chastise you for not taking such pictures in RAW format. From my experience the K-1 would have made it possible to recover a fair bit of the blown highlights without much reduction in image quality.

My scolding remark was meant in good humor.

Cheers

Actually I made a mistake in describing the original file. I had taken several pictures at different exposures and started to work with one that had good light for the stone near my right shoulder, but was way overexposed for the sky as described, but when I tried to bring some color into the sky, I got that annoying banding. So I turned to a file in which the rock wall to my right was almost black, but there was reasonable color and exposure on the sky, and used the shadows slider. That proved more effective, so I continued working on it. The rock color in the shadows was peculiar, and it took quite a bit of fussing to get it akin to what I remember it being.

Was wondering if the photographer below was one of LeRolls ladies. Not quite enough DOF to reach the "mitten."

Ha ha! Maybe someday. She might be a better landscape photographer than me though.

The spiked bra does not look too inviting.

Well, the theme was Wasteland. I'm sure I can put together something without spiked bras, just for you...

I find that modeling agencies are mostly unnecessary in today's age of Instagram. They needlessly complicate things and mostly get in the way. So no, I do not work with a modeling agency. As for your second question the models mostly find me now that I've built up a portfolio. I just decide whether I want to work with them. If I enjoy collaborating with the model then we usually work together again. At this point half the models I work with are pretty much my friends.

Thank you. So many models show up late to shoots so I decided to have a plan B so we could keep shooting after sunset.

That photo-lady was taking her time getting the image she wanted, walking - no striding back and forth, moving the tripod twenty feet this way, forty that. I was FAR from the only male who was taking a long look. The manner in which she moved communicated physical strength and mental assurance, capable every way, a formidable person not to be taken lightly,

AND BTY: The lady in the pink & blue bikini is really lovely, beautiful face and smile.
