24-70 is an excellent standard zoom and very dependable for landscape in my opinion, there's been some good prices on it recently as well!
I don't like the 82mm filter size, but I guess there is a 'pay to play' FF factor here. If you have 70-200 or other bokeh options and like shooting landscape then 24-70 is a must I think.

But then i looked at them via their links and at full size and I saw how much nicer they are (and sharp)! I was really starting to second guess whether i should by a K1 and 24-70!!
Thanks for this! The crummy jpgs are a problem of 500px embeds I reckon. I think I need to change to flickr ASAP. I know people complain about Flickr embeds but the 500px ones are frequently not acceptable when viewed here.
If anyone has any experience about which methods / sites get the best embed quality then I'm all ears!
