It is sometimes possible to snug up a bayonet-mount hood by putting a spot of super glue or epoxy on the little nub or boss on the hood that locks it in place.
I have a friend who works restoring cars and has some plastic welding gear, I'm hoping it will be possible re-shape the mounting points on the lens and the hood to their former shape.

I think mine is this or similar. https://www.amazon.com/Avenger-D705B-26-Inch-Collapsible-Reflector/dp/B001GCUXE4
The model number is worn off but it's the same brand. I agree with the positive review there.

Santa came by tonight and lit our town tree. Amazing he has time for that these days!

Yeah the old guy sure gets around. Only a few hours before that, he was riding on a fire engine in Watertown, NY at the east end of Lake Ontario. I wish I had access to Santa's travel technology.

You must sometime read an analysis called, more or less, Santa Clause meets physics. Basically it estimates the number of children Santa must visit Christmas night, the distance he must travel to get to each home, then calculates how fast he must travel and how much time he has at each location. Unsurprisingly, he travels faster than the speed of light, which explains why no one ever sees him. Many things are much simpler and nicer if you don't think about them too much.

Off topic, but I need to know: How can our local Mall Santa take a short break from greeting the little kids, travel to Colorado to light the tree, and make it back in time for the next kid?

On topic: @Mattb123, the 15-30 seems well matched to the K-1.

Wow! That first one is a true macro, and FF mode no less? I didn't know the ART had so many hidden talents! (and you too, heh)

If you want to see a sad jumper... there is a poor one legged bugger on the previous page.

Sharp pic.
