It was very warm compared to how it would typically be today. About 30 F I think. It should be more like 0.

K-1 and DFA 28-105
ISO 100, ƒ8, AV mode.

The view from Fisherman's Bridge on Mud Bay, Galeairy Lake. You get a couple of good sunsets and all the sudden you think every one is going to be good. This one was OK, but not dramatic like the last few nights. I felt I had to go someplace different. The same old places are becoming very same oldish.

FIsherman's bridge. It replaces the old rail bridge with a foot bridge so you can use the old rail line as a hiking trail.

Just to see how it would look, I put my Rokinon 8mm fisheye on the K-1 and took it out to the front yard. The lens was pointed straight up and there were a couple of strong light sources in the frame including the full moon and the street light across the street that is my nemesis when it comes to night time sky photography. In the first frame of the first bracket there were some odd and unexplained light streaks. I have no idea what caused them or why they would be in only the first image of the 6 total frames I shot. I did nothing deliberate to cause them and I had no source of light when I released the shutter by IR Remote.

K-1, Rokinon 8mm f3.5 Fisheye

A Red-backed Fairy-wren. This is a male in his 'eclipse' moult when he does not yet have his full adult colours of jet black and bright red. He is showing off his little red cape for his spouse.

Walt, I've been enjoying your images of Monument Valley. You've captured some mighty fine images.

Testing the DA* 70-200mm /f2,8 early this morning.

Very nice lighting colors for this sunrise, very soft.

And I was lucky enough to have a plane in between me and the Moon

Im trying lower width image for this forum, hope it will display as sharp as on my monitor !

Getting acquainted with the new K-1 ... The first one is with the FA 77/1.8 wide open and Charlotte is wearing four X-mas hats stacked on each other. The second is a test of the DA 15 Limited in 1:1 mode plus a minor crop ... xpost from B&W thread

The windpw dressing shot is clever and well executed.
