The Pacific coast has been receiving waves of storms, rain and snow, over the past several days.

Yesterday, as yet another series of squalls and storms rolled in from the West, I went to meet the front. I stumbled onto a beach I'd not been to before. I found a spontaneous waterfall from the runoff of the rainwater from the cliffs and higher ground adjacent to the beach.

This is a cropped four-photo pano shot with a 15-30 zoom.

Weeks back I was happy that CA was getting precipitation sufficient to end the drought, then as the storms continued I started being apprehensive about flooding and land slides. Seems to be not famine or feast, but famine or belly ache. BTW: spent my college years @ CAL. It was a wild place in the 60's.

Getting close to the end of processing my series of images from Crested Butte, CO from July 2016. Here's a sunrise shot over the Slate River, just north of town. 4 images - 3 blended for exposure, a 4th blended in for focus stacking purposes. K-1 and Fa 20. x-post to 20 mm club.
