That is really cool. Without the caption, not sure I would have spotted and recognized the flower on the right.

@LeRolls ....I think he just went into cardiac arrest....several of his assistants carried him off on a stretcher as he was yelling "Oh hell yes, Oh hell yes!"

The morning "Scout" is in jeopardy of being outcast if he can't stay awake to sound the alarm. There is always a "slacker"...we all know one...or more!

Squeezing out the last of this set... last couple from a day out with just the DFA 100.

I am beginning to think I could leave the house with just the ***Tokina 20-35 ATX II, DFA 100 WR, and the DA*300, Tamron Af Pz 1.4x, and not miss my other lenses...at all...really. This might be my new go-to trinity. I really have to think long and hard when I leave the Tamron 70-200 at home, but the weight penalty really makes me choose between it and the DA*300... and the DA seems to win most times.
(***though I do lust after the new DFA15-30, but I'm convincing myself the Tokina will do for my budget and weight concerns.)

Two very nice images there. Had a 15-30 for two days - the day it arrived and the day I sent it back. Knew immediately it was way too big and heavy. I'd rather carry two MF primes (SMCA 20mm & Irix 15mm)

Thanks Frederick! That first flower is a beauty, should be on a greeting card... soulful... can a flower be soulful? And of course, your model friend is looking great per usual, even if she has been on the verge of a wardrobe malfunction.

Speaking of wardrobe malfunctions, LeRolls, you dont want to give a poor squirrel a heart attack do you? Or is that part of population control? Poor Otis... ;-)

Thanks WPRESTO! Yeah, that is what I was afraid of with the 15-30. If it is as big as you say, then I might be having to choose between it and another lens, and it would probably stay home often. I guess I'll keep the Tokina going for a while longer. It's really a very good lens for a zoom, even better when I find a hood for it, for now I just shade with my free hand... I haven't seen too many better lenses, except primes of course, but the range of the 20-35 on FF is pretty darn convenient to have.

Wow, that sunset (or rise?) really does look like it's on fire! Great capture, amazing colors.

Those rolling hills look so peaceful... compared to the traffic I was in today, man does a stroll down that hill look tempting, even if I needed my winter coat.
