Loved that one! Otis said he "wants to see more of her...lots more!" Yep, I slapped him upside the head again!

This must really confuse their little minds....Sap here today...gone tomorrow....back again in a day or two. It is funny to see them check the Cheater Branches 8-10 times a day hoping for a miracle!

Regards!

I guess if That Squirrel gets a post routinely, then it's OK to post some from Utah, the only opportunity I've had to use the K1 extensively.

Shots like that one are certainly welcome anytime by me...and the damn squirrel! I wish I had some scenery like that near me, so lovely and a fine shot!

Haven't heard from FS....I guess he is busy picking those ticks out of that dreadful looking concoction he posted?

Regards!

Well...it was pretty close to you when you shot it...or you have one hell of a tele lens!

If you ever find those Big Bend shots again, let me know..they were terrific!

Best Regards!

And a lot closer to you two than to me. The other side of Angel's landing, half an hour earlier in the day, but close to 4 weeks later. Love how one can pull details out of dark, dark shadows of K-1 files.

That's a fine image, JensE. When I was in college some buddies & I hiked up to the access point for the Angel's Landing, but it was covered with snow and I would not be able to manage it under the best of circumstances, being very high-shy.

The first image below from along the access trail leading up to the start of the Angel's landing trail WAS NOT TAKEN WITH A K1. It was taken with an Asahi Pentax S, f2.2 preset lens, about 1964-64, original a chrome (Kodachrome?), scanned and converted to B&W. This image was posted on PF perhaps two years back.

The second image is from our recent visit to Zion, taken with a K1 from one of the valley floor bus-stops.

Damn he is looking more handsome than ever! There are only two critters around this place able to toot their own horn about their "handsomeness"......Hubble and Otis. No others compare to their natural beauty!

"You know.....me and Hubble could be Movie Stars!":D

Could be so, but the one to keep an eye on is the vulture circling overhead, waiting for Tortoise soup with owl desert. Heh heh.
