Nice bird shots, that Blue on the Wren is very striking.

Both great shots, but the first one is exceptional. Lighting, composition, wave action and seabirds. Very appealing photograph.

More pictures from Retezat National Park. Bucura Lake (first and second picture) is the largest glacier lake in Romania, having an area of over 105,000 square metres. It is 550 m in length, 160 m in width on average, and 225 m maximum width, for a perimeter of 1,390 m. The maximum depth is 15.5 m (--Wikipedia).

Same here, my K3 is standing on the shelf since I bought the K1, it replaced my K5 as my second camera when occasion needs it but beside this role it's basically seating on his shelf.

Wonderful colors and composition and it seems pretty natural to me. Im curious about the way you setup your AD180 and reflector though.

I had a walk with the Pentax 24-70mm yesterday, light was changing very fast because it was really windy and the rain was around the corner. I was not lucky enough to get some sun out of the clouds but I enjoyed the walk.

After taking this few shots, when back home and processed the images, I noticed I needed to fine tune this lens/camera combo once again it seemed. the following pictures are slightly front focusing. It get me mad

The flash was positioned two feet to the left of the subject @ 1/128th power, grids eat up a fair bit of light so I could get away with using such a wide aperture. The Elinchrom 70cm octabox chews up light when used with a deflector but that triple diffusion really enhances the softness of the light. It is one of my favorite Elinchrom light modifiers, it is extremely versatile.

Very very cool. Taken from boat or opposite shore? Just wondering how IBIS handles the boat rocking, if it was...

Another remote traveler with some serious wow factor. Really like the first one with curving rocky shore line.

You do those dew drops so well... I had an opportunity to try and capture them on a red flower the other day... not so easy, at least with the light I had... I have enough trouble duplicating natural reds without trying to get the highlights right on a glistening dew drop.
