We went to visit Prag between Christmas and New Year. First day rain and second fog. I missed WR in my second hand zoom but I like the colors of the FA 28-105 1:3.2-4.5.
The Charles bridge seen from a tourist boat, my eldest son on the deck out of focus.

The right time to visit Charles bridge is between 2 and 5 am, if you like to enjoy its "genius loci". Most of the day it's like being in Disneyland

But I'm not cheating with false branches and peanut butter
Now you're trying to ruin my reputation FS...shame on you! People here will think I am some kind of "Cheater"?

I like that last one, some good work to get that "gritty" look.

This little sparrow wanted a few minutes of fame, they get no attention, like the more colorful birdies get. He was so proud to pose on the Cheater Branch ..."just like the Big Boys".

Focus could have been better, but it's so hard to hold the K1/Bigma in one hand and my coffee in the other and keep it steady.

Regards!

BTW- Those branches are the genuine thing...real wood.....and who doesn't love peanut butter!

Well I finally got the righteous Tamron 70-200mm macro from one of the PF classifieds and was disappointed to find out the AF system is completely broken... Regardless, here are a few from the first day shooting with it.

Morning Rays

Curlew at Morro Rock

Zebras near Sam Simeon

Moonrise at Lake Nacimiento

Always love to see her! I bet she is a handful!

My little sparrow refused to get back on the Cheater Branch, so I did what I could with a fence shot. He said FS convinced him I was a low down cheating scoundrel and he didn't want to be any part of it.

Squirrels have no moral values, they will pose anywhere anytime if there is something to eat. Cheating is in their genes, and makes them proud.

@LeRolls Squirrels love the pose...sad part is it will cost me a bundle for three boxes of colored pencils to let them color it.

Really like that one.....a genuine real moon shot with some substance to it! I bet FS is shaking his head trying to figure out that "orange spot"?
