Shot this late yesterday in FF Mode and cropped it in processing.....There are about a dozen of these male Cardinals that live exclusively in the Woods of Otis year around. This one was telling me all about living with the squirrels...

"Squirrels carry exotic diseases...and they have horrible bad breath too!"

Here's a pic of a Cayman GT4 I snapped with my K-1 and 28-105 at a recent Porsche Concours in Kemah. The GT4, a limited edition car, is a fairly rare beast which incorporates a 385-HP, normally-aspirated 3.8 liter flat 6 in its relatively light, mid engine configuration which is tuned more for the track than for the street.

Been trying all day to get a decent shot of this little girlie Cardinal. She has been all over the place enticing the males that have been chasing her. Finally, she settled on the Cheater Branch for about 10 seconds....long enough to get a few quick snaps...this one was the best pose.

Spring is in the air here....I wish you guys could sit out on my deck and hear all the different birdies singing their mating songs, it is a heavenly sounding experience!

Isn't she lovely!

Lousy weather here today so just been messing around inside. Pulled out the Rokinon 85 1.4 today. On the K-1 this is a completely different lens than on the K3.
Experimenting with high ISO at ISO 20000.
