Nice lookin' Doggie.....did I ever say that I love Doggies & Doggie shots?

"Hey dummy, yeah you! What part of the Damn Feeder Is Empty do you not understand?"

Regards!
Thanks Rupert, your furrry love ttle friends seems to have endless expressions and antics as well. Tree rats are cute because they have fluffy tails... isntit wild how differently people react to sewer rats?

Your cardinals and doves are looking better in FF mode!

Yes, but squirrels do have distinct personalities and are fun loving playful critters......where sewer rats are just sneaky rodents intent on not much but eating.

Thanks! I do love to shoot the little birdies and FF seems to be a better option, with cropping in post processing if needed.

Best Regards!

I am really looking forward to using my Tamron on the K-1, these shots are all just great.

Nice one Rupert, I have yet to mount the Bigma on my K-1.

Lousy weather here today so just been messing around inside. Pulled out the Rokinon 85 1.4 today. On the K-1 this is a completely different lens than on the K3.
Experimenting with high ISO at ISO 20000.
Scorpio - Thanks! Zero in the fine focus adjustment first, and I think you will never want to take it off your K-1. As long as you are stuck indoors for bad weather, now would be a good time to zero in all your lenses, even the bigma. The Tamron is silly sharp and does a great job as a casual macro in a pinch too, but as I said you really need to zero it first, because focus accuracy becomes even more important for that.

@ LeRolls - I heard one squirrel saying to all the others gathered around their outdoor monitor...."Stop crowding the screen, there is plenty of hiney there for all of us!" Yep, if you are a "hiney kind of guy" like me and my squirrels, this one would be near impossible to beat!

Very lovely girl and very well shot!

BTW- Mrs Rupert came in as I had this on the screen and she said "I'll never ask you again if my hiney is too big!"

For whatever reason, I really like the last one. The grays in the hillside are very appealing.....you should get some more of those in that area!

My little girlie from the last page had another side......she wants to be a model and I think she will make it!

Not her best side but she is still lovely!

Just shot this with the Bigma 50-500 in FF Mode. Very little processing and no cropping. I think the FF shooting Mode is the way to go!

"They told me to watch for squirrels....Hell, they must be blind, the damn rodents are everywhere you look!"

This is so much fun, isn't it! Gotta love the K1 and that great new AF ability! Point, half press, and Boom, you have focus and your shot!

Regards!
