Sunrise at Peanut Lake, outside Crested Butte, CO, July 2016. Maybe my last in this series from SW Colorado.

I don't have that lens, but your results speak for themself... keeping in mind, the guy behind the camera has a lot more to do with what comes out the other end.
Eric
Thanks for your kind words. It's a lens that is very versatile of course but I also do like the rendition of the colors. Bokeh is nice too up to /f3.5.
I've been using this lens under the rain as well, always nice to dont bother about your Camera + Lens combo when weather is terrible.
And a very nice lens for live event too.

Yes, more...

These guys had tunnels all over the place, when they would emerge, you could see the dirt falling off their stiff fur. I've never petted one, but I'm guessing they feel more like a Fuller Brush than a mink.

Breakfast with this guy is all about him...more please, more...chomp chomp chomp... great fun.
I'm amazed they are not all grossly overweight. Just think how long it takes the food to hit their stomach so they feel full. Good thing they are herbivorous.

PS: OK, just looked this up. here is an interesting factoid: The intestines of an adult giraffe measure more than 70 m (230 ft) in length

This one caught me by surprise...they are not usually seen until well after sunset. I guess he got hungry early? Only got a couple of quick snaps and he was gone....I think I know why!
