Spent 2 days in Lake District - UK. Very nice... not the weather though... rained 40 hours out of 48, washing out any chance of a sunrise/ sunset photo... most of my photos were shot in the rain... So glad the K1 and 15-30 are weather sealed!! .. hope you like them.

Beautiful,K-amps; last esp. captivating.

Did that help to achieve the lighting you wanted ?
It was slightly cloudy with some rays of sun, white horses with some brown background. When using matrix metering, some areas on the horses were burned , I switched to center weighted for better exposure.

New batch...

The DA*300 does a fair imitation of a macro... almost makes me want to try out one of those A/F extension tubes... not sure if the SDM would work though?
Definitely gives a little more working distance with things that might sting you, heh heh. About 2/3rd's of the original photo cropped out on this one, so basically apsc mode, but, composition wise, crop mode would not have given me what I wanted, and spot focus and re-compose gives awful focus in macro, everything moves, so, shoot FF and crop in post seems best for this sort of thing.

Some beautiful shots. I know the weather wasn't great, but sometimes cloudy conditions produce the richest greens and a little mist is a nice touch, even if a beautiful sunrise would have been nice too.
