Tests of K1 in FF mode, in Crop mode (APS-C) and K3II

In this test are the same distance, so the image of the K1 is smaller and must be enlarged by 50% more so that they remain the same size, well in the cut to 100% is not appreciated that it loses ditidez with respect to The K3II or the K1 in Crop mode.
The photos are the jpg taken from the Raw with Lightroom, unprocessed just by tweaking the expositions a bit, without applying sharpen.

With the SMC Pentax 50mm F1.2

The Tamron 70-200mm f2.8 isn't just a portrait/action lens ... early morning in the Western District of Victoria. There are actually a couple of (big) white parrots up in the top branches.

Clackers,

I agree on the Tamron 70-200 lens. A very good lens. Especially for the price. Here is a shot taken with my D FA 150-450 lens. It is a very good close up lens. These are flowers on a milkweed plant. Taken last summer at a nearby park.

I like every one of those FS! The first one is stunning! ( My favorite color too!)The girl is lovely, and you took my advice and got a shot with some real meat in it! Yep, you are coming along nicely, and I think you will "make the grade" here!

Really like that one, it is excellent!

Definitely gives a little more working distance with things that might sting you, heh heh.
Nice light and still an amazing level of detail at that crop level.

I wouldn't worry in the field about bees, this one was shot with the D-FA 50mm at 1:1:

(see Early spring pollen gathering - almost a story - PentaxForums.com for a series).

But if you give the 300mm a try on extension tubes, I'd be very interested to see the results. It can get a little tense in front of a hive or at an open one sometimes and my long lens choices are quality-wise fairly limited, to put it nicely.
