Taken with Pentax HD DA 55-300 ED WR, Pentax HD DA 35mm F2.8 Macro Ltd. and Tamron AF 70-300. All taken in a full-frame mode.
Nice work, Efraim. Even though it's nominally an APS-C lens, the DA35 Macro continues to impress me on the K-1, in spite of some vignetting under particular circumstances.

Nice work. The portraiture is really great. Expression, direct gaze at the camera . . . conveys an impression of honesty, realism.
We both thank you

Here are couple more, first two with FA 43 last one with FA 77.

Well, I did not expect that, but DFA 28-105 is something really unique..
I did some quick tests comparing long range center sharpness and quality with (50-135mm, 100mmWR, 70-210mm) and that thing was 1:1 with 100 Macro and above the rest.

Picture is not from the test, but a quick random snap. Sun is just behind her naughty hair. I got this pretty underexposed, but did some recovery on LR.
The only thing I might miss is just bit more BOKEH. The rest is just perfect.

88mm, f5.6, 1/90, ISO 100.

Amazing images John - I seriously need to get up to Skye for a visit - a friend used to go every year and I've never been which is just daft! The big issue is it's a heck of a drive from Sussex I guess and the weather is so unpredictable even in Summer so it always seems easier to settle for Dorset! Gorgeous place though beautifully captured!
Thanks for the kind words, Skye is well worth the trip. As always with these places, the journey can be as amazing as the destination. Of course you can see Inverary, Glencoe, Rannoch Moor, Glen Shiel, Glasgow, The Trossachs etc etc on the way up. So take a couple of days over it!

I only visit off-season, I never tried in the summer! It is already busy enough for me, I actually can't imagine how busy the hot-spots get in high season - many of the interesting spots are accessed by single track roads and have very limited parking.

A couple more from me, 24-70 this time. Blowing a gale (lots of tripod trouble) and rather busy with visitors at the Glenbrittle Fairy Pools yesterday. More time spent with the clone stamp removing people than anything else!

John

That is a stunning sea-scape sun up/down. The texture of the water and reflections off it are just gorgeous. Did I say I like it?

Thanks. I discovered that vignetting produced by 35mm LTD is greatly reduced by removing the filter and not extending the hood. Whatever is left can be easily fixed in LR or PS.

Excellent image. I bought DFA 28-105 yesterday and I wholeheartedly agree with your assessment of this lens. I have a film era version of this lens (FA
power zoom) but they are not comparable.
