I remember years ago when street lighting was all tungsten. But now, LED lamps and signage mean you don't take such a hit with colour casts. FA77 and the K-1, available light only.

The old-style street light which you're referring to was likely from sodium vapor lamps. Highly efficient lamps which produce almost monochromatic orange-colored light (589nm Sodium 'D''-lines). I think it is still the dominant street light globally, easily seen if you travel by plane at night. While tungsten lamps have a low colour temperature, they still render colour very well with their continuous emission spectrum.

I recently picked up a DA*55 for a good price. Tired it over the weekend taking some shots at f1.4.

The textures on the first green butterfly are really fantastic.
