I remember years ago when street lighting was all tungsten. But now, LED lamps and signage mean you don't take such a hit with colour casts. FA77 and the K-1, available light only.

Great intense portraits. I especially like the light on the 2nd. I wouldn't want to get in his way after those shots though ...

The old-style street light which you're referring to was likely from sodium vapor lamps. Highly efficient lamps which produce almost monochromatic orange-colored light (589nm Sodium 'D''-lines). I think it is still the dominant street light globally, easily seen if you travel by plane at night. While tungsten lamps have a low colour temperature, they still render colour very well with their continuous emission spectrum.

Here, street lighting was split between sodium and mercury vapour lamps, and still is in many places, although LED light units are slowly taking over as lights and light stands are replaced.

Had a very bright day, and some challenge shooting in front of the sun.
In such moments I always wish we could be in places for the right time of the day to take the pictures we foresee in our head..

I recently picked up a DA*55 for a good price. Tired it over the weekend taking some shots at f1.4.
The textures on the first green butterfly are really fantastic.
