OK, I liked this picture so much, I had to look up Hoevelaken to see where you and this cute little guy were!
Great moment you caught, thanks for sharing.

Always a pleasure to view your work Frederic. Your food work is always a pleasant break from the usual too. I am still waiting to see what you did with the Soligor the other night.

Got my K-1 last week. Love this camera!
Steam Locomotive No. 844 is the last steam locomotive built for Union Pacific Railroad. It was delivered in 1944. A high-speed passenger engine, it pulled such widely known trains as the Overland Limited, Los Angeles Limited, Portland Rose and Challenger. Hailed as Union Pacific's "Living Legend," the engine is widely known among railroad enthusiasts for its excursion runs, especially over Union Pacific's fabled crossing of Sherman Hill between Cheyenne and Laramie, Wyoming.
Handheld 'grab shot' with Pentax 50mm F/1.4 @ F/5.6 and 1/500 ISO 100 - Had to race 6 miles to this point from the Montpelier RR station as the mob there precluded any serious photography. Had no time to setup tripod. Got up close and personal as the engine passed by at 75 mph within 5 feet with the 50mm ;-)
100% crop of second image above.
Love the clean resolution, great set. Don't ya just love the crop-ability?

Vincent, nice! I gotta ask, did you use the virual ND filter in the ACR import screen, or??? Just curious, I wasn't sure if I was seeing signs of it or imagining.
