There's a sharp discontinuity in the stream of water coming from the left, not long after it emerges from the nozzle. Otherwise a beautiful shot.

Magical shot!

This little girlie Cardinal is still working on her modeling career. She thinks LeRolls might call her soon so she can get some real professional shots for her portfolio.

"My boyfriend is perched nearby to advise me...he is so handsome!"

"I just wish we had a real photographer for her, maybe that kid with the Rebel will come along and help her out?"

Hey...I do what I can! Squirrels have contaminated the thoughts of all the animals around here.....

Regards!

A few more with embarrassingly blown highlights... I am posting these to really embrace the shame so that I'll be more likely to remember not to do it again. LOL!

***Note to self, when using manual metering in shade, remember to switch to auto after subject runs out into the sun for action***

This shot's lost potential is so high it hurts... ugh!

The upper body musculature on this cub is amazing... powerful little critters.

Those really aren't bad at all....pretty neat shots! I do shoot a little on the dark side and prefer it over more exposure. It is easier to push up than down for me when processing.

Been repairing the Cheater Branches this morning....may get a few shots today from them if I load up some sap. My 83 year old yard man bumped into one yesterday and thinking they were "just dead branches" he tore them all down!

Gotta have them...they are the squirrels favorite spots for resting and roaming.

Regards!

Thanks, I just know the potential for so much better was lost and it makes me a little crazy, heh. Yeah, me too normally I go under by -.7 ev, but in full manual, I think exposure compensation goes away... I was trying to see if the camera responded to CAF faster in fully manual (less thinking for CPU) but when the lighting changed and he ran out into the bright sun, I was too busy framing and shooting and totally forgot I was in manual. hah! Oh well, live and learn.

Another stellar set Frederic

Thanks Rupert. Welcome home, looks like your moochers missed the freebies while you were away.

Looks like you don't need my guidance anymore FS, you are finally doing great all on your own! Wonderful shots with the first two and even the food looks delicious! Just one last tip for you ...stay away from those moon shots, they don't magnify your work well....anyhow those last two people on earth have finally seen them, so there is no longer a need.

Sadly they've got a new lifeboat which doesn't use the old, iconic lifeboat station at Selsey so this view will not be available soon.

Hello,
Now that is strange...sort of mysterious....I like it!

Only got one shot today....but the Bigma gave out some decent bokeh...you just never know what you will get with the Bigma.
