Use your camera, save the fish
The fish have absolutely no worries with me. I haven't fished now for about a decade.

But when I did, I caught a few, but always practiced catch and release and only used debarbed hooks. I also wore wet gloves when handling, as not to damage the outer mucous coating on their bodies and moved them through the water to replenish their oxygen before release.

I also didn't use live bait, just wet flies I either tied myself or bought.

My K-1 came in today! I'm so excited to be part of the FF club now. I took a natural light selfie with the FA 77 for my very first shot. I missed focus, the background is boring, and my positioning barely qualifies as a pose, but the important thing is it was taken with a FF sensor, which automatically makes it a good photograph! All kidding aside, I can't wait till I have time to really experiment with this magnificent piece of equipment and see what kind of magic it makes with the Amigos.

Another fantastic shot, Chris! I especially love the way you brought out the texture on her dress and in her gorgeous hair.

Thank you for the kind words! Enjoy your new K-1. It truly is a magnificent camera and if I wasn't so in love with the 85 I'd use the three amigos on it more often.

Yes, just when I thought I was content with my 31 and 77, your photos have been giving me serious 85 envy!

Flagstaffs, Lamp Posts and one Tower.

Pentax SMC FA 24-90 IF & AL

She has been sitting on the shelf for too long getting rusty... decided to take her out for a spin around the block and see how she performs on the K-1. Not too bad I thought.

Not an earth shattering motive but it served the purpose.

Cheers

B/W works well on this one.....very nice! I can "feel it".

@ LeRolls - One of your best here, wonderful shot and such a lovely model. I even loved her dress, gorgeous too! Unfortunately, squirrels did not share my appreciation, for the usual reasons.....not enough skin showing. I try to educate them on natural beauty and the "arts" but it seems hopeless. One crude and rude squirrel commented that he'd love to have a nest like she has on her head......of course, I slapped him silly!

I'd actually like to see you do more portrait type shots, this one is so wonderful!

Regards!
