It is indeed one of the more awesome places on the planet. I've skied there, and swore I would return for some summer fun, but have yet to do so.

Oh, and nice photo.

Franc, Mrs Rupert came by as I was viewing your little birdie and said to tell you those are "great shots, and he is so cute." So...I just did!

@Cosimo - Lovely shots, the last two are my favs! Excellent!

(Thanks to those that number their multiple postings! Old guys like me get confused when they aren't numbered and have to go back again...and again...and.....to see which is what?, if you know what I mean? If you don't you will when you get old too!)

Here is one the squirrels processed where the plain smooth bokeh was boring. They manipulated it to look as if they were firing off shotguns from the rear to take out another "worthless birdie". Sounds pretty dumb to me, but remember they have brains the size of a pinto bean...you can't always expect genius from them!

#1. of 1

Regards!

Accidental use of ISO 3200......not too bad for my taste, for a heavy crop.

Both at Cragside, Northumberland, England. Delighted by what I could achieve handheld with these lenses and the K-1.

This one is for the birds, first two from D-FA 24-70:

Gooseland

Then a few more from Sigma 400mm f/5.6 APO Tele-Macro. A lens I actively try to dislike enough to justify a D-FA 150-450, but the images out of it never agree with that line of thought.

That looks so delicious Ken! I sure wish I could teach FS to cook like that...things you can recognize as delicious...not a grasshopper carcass on a stack of weeds!
