It's actually a Rockwell B-1, Eric, but I didn't see its nuclear payload ... I hope they checked all the visitors on the way out for 'souvenirs'.

You can fit a lot in a Lowepro Sling bag... what aren't you telling us?

But seriously, I was talking about the Oris Swiss sponsored plane with the swirling exhaust smoke in the prop wash... would have sworn it was an SU31? Certainly not a Yak with that rudder...

Eric,
When ever it stops raining here I am going on a hunt for a bee, fantastic shot you got there.
Patriot,
In the past I was at many of the places in your photos, but I never saw things in quite the special way that you do. Most people would just take a shot of the waves, but you put emphasis on the waves, included the different terrain in the background & the beautiful sky. That all makes for a far more complete and better capture.
normhead,
Outstanding shots, I like the different angles that you shoot.
clackers,
Very nice set of air show photos, I like how you include the people attending and not just the planes.
Kerrowdown,
Excellent photos, I like all three but I have to ask, the benches appear to be made of wood or are they concrete forms? If of wood then man that is some serious good artistic woodwork.
fs999,
Frederic you took some beautiful shots but I have to agree with Eric, your bee is a bit of a whimp.
Hattifnatt,
Thank you very much for the appreciative remark. Many photos on this forum have given me a smile or in some way made my day better. Guess it is my way of saying good day, saying thanks or some effort to return a smile in a photo or attempt to do so in words. I looked at a bunch of your photos on flickr, some beautiful work there, especially the Tree at Sunset.
Best Regards, Bob

They are indeed wooden, all made from one piece of solid timber.

Patriot, once again I am impressed with your blue night sky and clear atmospheric conditions. Really special pic right there.
Eric
Eric thank you, it was the first night after the new moon, I was completely alone with this amazing place.
There was silence, only rarely heard the howling of a coyote and the mooing of cows.
I felt so good than ever in my life, I wanted it to go on forever .
But unfortunately all good things come to an end, I spent 3 hours there and
I was afraid that the wife who was waiting for me in the car would start to worry,
so I had to return to the parking lot.
But early in the morning I went back and photographed a very beautiful sunrise.

Thank you Bob!

I really love the west of America, I was fortunate enough to visit Arizona and New Mexico, California, Nevada, Utah, Oregon and Washington,
Montana and Wyoming in USA and in British Columbia and Alberta in Canada.
You live in a surprisingly beautiful country, but unfortunately many Americans do not even guess about the existence of these beauties.
Therefore, I try as I can show people in what beautiful country they lives

I spent this night in the Negev desert with my friend Ari. He is well versed in astronomy and helped me to shot the Milky Way.
It was really a magical night and first time I saw and photographed the Milky Way.

Fantastic as always. Wish the EXIF would come through on your images as I am always wondering what lens can capture all that detail.
