not good shots but interesting

As always more nice photos posted.
Patriot,
Terrific Milky Way shots and I want to add something to your comment. A lot of people never even notice the abundant beauty that is around them everywhere every day. But with the members of this forum it is certainly different. People that photograph typically see the beauty in other people, animals, the sky, the scenery, the small as well as the large things. That is one of the reasons I love this forum, I get to see so much of what others see & appreciate.
My neighbor signed a lease with Verizon for them to erect a 300 feet tall cell tower in the middle of his hay field.
First shot taken from his field about 400 yards away; second shot taken from my yard near the barn at about 500 yards;
then a crop of that one; the last two shots taken from right at my house roughly 600 yards, followed by a crop.
All shots taken with the 24-70 before doing the AF fine adjustment.
Best Regards, Bob

Thank you Bob, this was the first attempt to photograph the Milky Way, I will try to shot it with something interesting in the foreground.

Bob you are absolutely right, good photos help to see all the beauty surrounding us.

fs,
Love that first shot of the Pink hairy fingers, especially enlarged on flickr; that bee is much more robust; is that you laying in the grass taking the shot of the bee? Also very cool Mustang, is that yours? Sorry, so many questions!!
Thank you for the comment on the antenna.
ivanvernon,
Like the lilies shots, mostly the first one simply cause you included the fence post, nice flowers.
eaglem,
That hibiscus stamen is big & awesome
BruceBanner,
The cat does not appear all that happy about the flash, just saying
Best Regards, Bob

Great portrait . . . I am betting it is the one taken with the 77 lens--which my wife calls our magic lens! Beautiful model also.

Don't know why, but I always got a kick out of these texas wildflowers, the passionflower seems to come right out of Dr Seuss's imagination.
