I like the last one best Bob, that has the strongest composition and is the more striking pic of the set to my eyes.
Keep'em coming.

Last of this set... need to get out and shoot some... been raining here for weeks and weeks (on my days off especially). I have WR lenses, but sometimes I don't feel too WR myself.

Tight crop.

Excellent shot. I'm fairly new to the 'flower game' and I visited a friends house last year and saw their passionfruit tree which was blooming similar to what you have captured. After photographing petals and 'normal' flowers for awhile I couldn't believe what I was seeing, such an alien looking plant doncha think? I love it, and you have captured it perfectly.

Really love the woodpecker shot. Was recently watching a video about shutter speed and motion and how it's best in some situations if you can capture some motion in a creature (or object or whatever) and the rest still in focus, and you have illustrated this perfectly here! The pic would not be better if the entire image was frozen in time. Great shot!

You are too kind, Thanks Bruce! It definitely reminds me of something otherworldly! And the closer you look, the weirdness continues in the whole things bizarre design and reproductive network.

So true!

Beautiful rendering on that Porst shot... you have a lot of surprises up your sleeves... or in your camera bag. That last shot is the color version of the other B&W or was one day and one night?

I had a woodpecker like that who liked to bang on the aluminum flashing of my chimney... about drove me to drink, I had to put up a fake Owl, That got rid of him.
