So this was an interesting challenge. It looks simple enough, but I actually used my K-1 video mode for the first time just to be able to show y'all what I was up against.

Yes, it was short (and pixelated) because I was trying to get it down under the 3mb max upload size for PentaxForums attachment. The main intent was just to show how much that thing was moving and how fast. Even 500th of a second was borderline enough to stop the blur.

Your first shot is the winner for me Frederic, very nice colors.

Plenty of good photos on the last few pages.
Eric, Your post of the orange dragon fly, I did a view image & enlarge, and WOW, that shot is superior. I could see the shadows of the wings on the seed pod. As for the other shot you posted, I think that wind makes for lots of fun photography. Best Regards, Bob
