Thank you both, I'm glad you like it. I do believe there is beauty in simple things such a country road.

Here's another one, sunset over a small pond.

Who says you can't shoot fast action sports with a K1 and a manual focus lens?

Right out of camera - no color or contrast adjustments or enhancements. Cross posted...

Thank you. I pretty much don't know how geotagging works, never used it yet. Do I need to turn on the GPS on my K-1 while taking pictures? in this case I'm not sure if I like it, it will drain the battery faster I suppose.

However I like to keep track of my shots in case I return for better light. The place for the photo you liked is somewhere on the bike track from Castlebar to Ireland Museum of Country Life, following the course of Castlebar River. I've attached a screenshot from Google Maps with the approximate location. It's a beautiful track that I would recommend to everyone if happens to wonder in the area looking for photographic opportunities.

Yeah, basically you just turn on the GPS, and it automatically tags where you are. I haven't noticed it affecting battery drain too much.

The squirrel is perfect! You should do more squirrels.....and less moons. People love squirrels, moons...not so much.

The berries look delicious.....thanks for not topping them off with something weird...like a damn grasshopper carcass.

Here is a desaturated version of one I posted a few days ago......I like it better. He was pretty "loaded" that day,It was hot and he drank a whole case of beer and two bottles of apple cider ale...so he was pretty "rich " lookin'!

Regards!

Ticket to Ride?

That is a game that must be played either seriously like that or very light heartedly.

Went to a Warbirds Airshow on Saturday and a local museum where they did a US Civil War battle reenactment.

The B17 is the one used in the movie Memphis Belle. The C47/DC3 is one of the planes used to drop paratroopers of the 82nd Airborne division into France in June 6, 1944. It was flown over to France in 2014 for the ceremonies and the original pilot of the plane got to fly co-pilot over Normandy. The B17 was at the rear of the hanger getting some TLC and it was pretty dark back there. The K1 had no problems with the available light. They were both taken with my Rokinon 20mm f1.8 lens.

The next two shots were taken with the 28-105 lens on my K1. Love this lens. Tack sharp if I do my job. On both days I used my new BlackRapid Sport camera strap, Love it. Wore it while walking around for 5 hours on Saturday. Very comfortable.
