I overlooked some pics I took a couple months ago while hicking in south of France, all taken with Pentax SMC FA 20-35mm /F4 under perfect weather.
Here are a few B&W shots developed with ON1 Effects 2017, a change from my usual Nik "Silver Efex Pro2" processing.
Last picture is a Panorama of 6 shots, handheld.

Nice series of posts Kerrowdown.....interesting......and I like it that the boy got two cones!

A little short Rupert story from the Woods of Otis......

"Looky at that lazy worthless slouch of a rodent down there......just taking up space and contributing nothing to this world!"

"You talkin' 'bout me? ...unlike scrawny birds that fowl the air, I am enjoying life to the fullest!"

"They smell bad too and have rotten breath syndrome, such pathetic creatures!"

That's all folks!

Regards!

Think it maybe more deep rooted than a lack of ice cream...

a moth

Eric, thank you for the comments, the nephew & I are having a great time with the new wonderful digital optical stuff.
Patriot, With The Lone Tree you have gone beyond the beyond with your photos, superb man, simply superb. And when & if I go for that print I will certainly write you, thanks.
Hattifnatt, very nice river sunset, I really like that.
kerrowdown, your people shots lately are awesome, as well as your dialogue. And I must say the lady does have nice jibs.
DimC, your photos are far more than humble. I love those B&W shots, actually look sorta surreal.
pinholecam, beautiful child, beautiful shot & beautiful remark.
ivanvernon, very nice shots of the grandson. Love the second flower shot.
VJEphoto, nice work on the focus & depth of field, and nice looking food.
Timw4mail, very beautiful M42 shots, well done.
mattb123, WOW, fantastic moon rise. I want to catch one next to my barn but it certainly will not be any where near as great as that one, excellent job.

Last year when I started looking at the many good photos on this forum I determined that one lens I wanted was the DFA 150-450. Knew that long before deciding to buy the K-1. Well finally I was able to afford it. After just a few days of shooting I am happy with it. Over 20 years ago I first saw a humming bird moth, and since then wanted to capture the image that I now post here. A lot of people would not consider that to be very important, but for me it was almost monumental. In the future I hope to get back in to wildlife photography and hope to get some decent shots to post.
These shots were taken hand held from about 8 feet away and the converted jpeg looks as good as the RAW.
Best Regards. Bob

Thanks Rupert, always a fan of your shot too mate !

Here is the color version of one the my pictures, It was an amazing day, super hot and the hike was really though with lots of climbing (I should have read the map more carefully ), but I took plenty of pictures all along and that was fun. K1+FA 20-35mm makes a great and light landscape combo.
