Hi this is my first time posting pictures on this thread. Here are a couple of them, shot with a combination of K-1 and the 100mm WR macro. I would love to know what the community thinks of these, and any and all feedback is welcome and appreciated!

Cheers!
Hi VJE,

Really like your plating arrangement in the top one, lighting and angle to the hero stack. Perhaps a bit of bounce fill in the back (near side) of the stack to show the delicious layers a bit better? The second one might also benefit from a bit more general light, and some bounce fill to bring up the shadows, maybe an angle option to the rice dish to celebrate it a bit more in the frame? A smaller salad bowl perhaps to make the contents clear the rim and appear a bit more full, only that I do not see the salad represented on the plating or separately, so it made me ask myself where it might be due the bowl was less full. I'll agree though, this makes me very hungry, I could eat it all. Nice work.

Cheers,

RM-

Am I doing anything wrong? Do these look sharp to you? I use K1- FA 77, DA* 55 and Tamron 90 Macro. I chose focus priority, single spot AF. For some, used Metz 58 on-camera flash with diffuser.

Love this shot. Wow. People who have this lens really seem to love it. I'm wanting a FF wide lens, and this might fit the bill.

This thread is packed with great photos of every kind! I want to congratulate you guys because you are great inspiration and just browsing the K-1 images is a strong motivation to go out take some pictures myself!

I wasn't around for quite some time because of some mobility problems (I hurted my knee) but now I'm back and I can carry my K-1 and some lenses in a bag so I hope I will post some K-1 samples myself...

There are many new members that are great photographers too, but I will find the time to congratulate and comment individually.

X post from the post your moon pics thread... here is a photo of the full moon eclipse (on 7th of August) taken with my MTO 1000A and the HD DA 1.4X TC. Click on the photo if you would like to see it in larger size.
