Love the Makro shots! And the one shot with the Irix looks beautiful too, also seems to be very sharp. Are you satisfied with it?
Yes very ! Nearly not chromatic aberrations and vignetting is minimal, one big inconvenient : it is flareless

some old glass shots

Holy cow, so many fantastic photos posted on the last several pages. Would love to comment but it would take up a whole page. Some of those shots are absolutely stunning. Here are some shots taken yesterday with the old Ricoh 70mm macro, all manual focus & aperture.
Jewelweed " Touch-me-not" and a stealth bug.
Best Regards, Bob

More crawling around in the garden with the A 100mm ƒ4.0 Macro. Off camera AF 360 FGZ speedlight with Cactus V6 trigger. Cropped square and a boost of shadows in post.

This is one from a couple weekends ago when I was at Point Reyes National Seashore. I really like how it was gloomy up top and clear where I was walking.

With the 28-105mm lens

As a regular visitor of this thread, I guess that I should be more verbose, it's always great to get a nice word for our work. I'm only clicking on "Like the post", but it basically mean that the shot(s) is sooo pleasant to look at and well executed and/or just stunning. Your shots belongs to second category for sure.
Thank you! I understand you, because I do the same, I probably need to write more and at the same time improve my English

Which lens did you use for this shot, out of curiosity?

He's wondering why you think that funny black box you are holding is occupying your attention when a tennis ball is clearly available. I know that look. Nice image. He's like "hey dummy, the tennis ball is right here."

It was none other than my “Femme Fatale” (Pentax-A 50mm F2.8 Macro).
