Few more shots from Ek Balam archeological site. As opposed to Chichen Itza, you are actually allowed to climb to the top of the big pyramid (The Throne).

Hattifnatt, I like the red headed Throne.
StanT, so that is where jelly beans come from, very nice photo and such good color & detail at ISO 3200.

My set up exactly, at least it was before my wife stuck the 28-105 on her K-5 and started refusing to give it back. I bought myself a D FA 100 macro, which seems to have helped the resulting wound heal somewhat. Both are amazing lenses.

You now have more "likes" than posts, bet you can't keep that up.

Nice raptor Reza, but I would suggest you go for a square crop that removes the shoulder of the human on the left.

Stunning
thanks for your note. I was initially thinking about it. I'll do and repost it.

If you are like me and find Passion Flowers fascinating, this might interest you...

I always wondered how the bloom progressed. For your viewing pleasure, one small mystery solved.

At this stage, you might be tempted to rip the vine off your fence because you thought it was potato vine, an annoying invasive plant...

Thanks, I am looking forward to some macro work as well, have a 100 mm on the way. Much of my macro work has been with the Oly Em1 and the 60 mm macro, very good stuff just limited file sizes. Cheers

Thanks, I like posting images and when using the Leica Q I had lots in BW, as the camera was great in this regard. I still like using Aperture does just what I need. I'll be looking for a raw editor for the Super hi rez files from the K1. Any suggestions most welcome. Cheers

Very boring weather day.
I took some time to seat on this bench reading for a while, then all of a sudden the sun came in and the whole vibe changed for a couple minutes...
