My photo/dog walk today was cut short by rain. I got just one image, but it was a pixel shift image.

Eric, talk about bee's, talk about a terrific shot on the second photo, and you even got 2 spiders in that. The one spider looks like it's nibbling on the bee's hind foot, maybe giving a message.
Norm, such brilliant color, I never have seen a red mushroom.
Best Regards, Bob

I definitely look for mushrooms with colour. This is a bumper year for mushrooms. I try and avoid beige or white, because I can, at least for this year.

Tess has stolen mine. It's getting harder and harder to get it on the K-1. It's gone from "May I borrow your lens?" to "I'm taking the lens." And she never takes it off. It just lives on her camera (K-5) now. If i suggest I might want to use it I get a dirty look.

OK, I admit, it's not at all funny. I'm just smiling so I don't cry.

That is rough , it really shines on the K-1. Anyone who has a K-1 and does not have the 25-105 is really missing out. I no longer even feel the slightest desire to buy or lug around that heavy DFA 24-70 2.8. Better tell Tess Christmas is not far away. I was real lucky and picked mine up on Amazon new for less than used.

I keep trying to find things that it just will not do.

I am still trying.

Very nice set. You're doing justice to this lens.
I want to try it because I see so many incredible pics taken with this lens but my main concern is about the 28mm...I would go without any hesitation if this lens was a 24-105mm

Theses colors are fantastic ! and great framing as well.

*********

Im slowly trying to move away from Lr as it became so slow to work with, and the only software I can think of now is ON1 Photo RAW.
The biggest problem is to leave all my Lr presets, it took me so much time to fine tune them I just can't resolve of letting this work go away.

Still, Im getting used to ON1 and it's great to see how developpers are trying to improve their soft on a sustained rate of enhancement. It's a lot faster now, it's missing some features but it looks like it could be a good Lr/Ps challenger quiet soon. My only complain is some random crashes when workin in the layers module, a lot less than about 6 months ago so I see we are going in the right direction.

It's fun to learn a new software, Im trying different things and I can see I've overdone the edits , but I guess it's part of the learning process...first you overprocess....then you move the sliders back after some time héhé !
