No we did not. We stayed in Akumal and had a guided tour at Chichen Itza, Valladolid and Ek Balam. Apart from this we mostly explored Riviera Maya, from Tulum to Playa del Carmen.

Two pics from the beach in Akumal:

A few more shots from Botswana: landscape with elephant, a lilac-breasted roller, and a watchful impala.

Yes Rupert, I am infected.
StanT, those are fantastic photos & welcome to this great forum.
Frederick, real neat flower shot with the water droplets and another timber frame structure. You have some very nice old buildings in your area.

Captured in full frame!

In the middle of a 645D/LS 75 photo session, with my wife as model, she turned the table and captured me with the K-1 and FA85/1.4, her favorite camera and portrait lens.

NOTE: Turned on edge again. Adam, can't something be done about this on-going problem!

You seem to be posting a lot of sunset photos, and shot at a precise points in time. But, is there any difference in the quality of light between sunset or sunrise?

For what it is worth, I find that there is more color at sunset and more sunbursts at sunrise. I have photographer's ephemeris on my phone which is really handy to know times of sunrise and sunset as well as direction the sun will be in at a given point.

The last couple of photos I posted were of the road in front of my home and the cows in the field across from my home. I just saw that the colors were really purple and thought I would try to grab a few shots. We live way out in the country and so I can take five minutes and grab a shot or two and then go back to other more important things like being a dad/husband.
