I have really enjoyed following this series immensely! Great body of work, you could easily do a Cuba travel book, just need to fill in some text of your trip. Eric

Hattifnatt, again excellent Havana street shots.
Thank you both. I guess a Cuba travel book would be too much as I have only visited Havana. I'm glad you're enjoying the series, there is more to come. I'll continue with some more street shots.

Eric, The valley my friend lives in is so pretty, he & I love sitting on the porch or up on the slope and just enjoying the view. No I have not made prints as yet, but still plan to. Where & how are you doing the prints?
Funny you mention the rolling slide show on the 60" monitor...another friend of mine a photographer, has such a monitor hooked up to his computer & when I visit he checks out my shots the rolling way. Of course he stops on some shots to nitpick the pixels.
Best Regards, Bob
When I was doing weddings back in my Pentax 645 film days, I found and used Reedy Photo ever since. (they are a reasonable drive, almost local to me, but also have a booming mail order pro business) Great lab, great work for 8x10 and up. For small stuff and cutesy photo books, there are a plethora of on-line places with "wizzards" where you can build your own.

Even the lowly drugstores like Walgreen's photo lab can do a photo-book nowadays, but Blurb dot com is probably the most popular, and has decent pricing and lots of choices. I do these books for my friends & family, for special occasions, etc . I like them because I can put them on a coffee table or on a shelf, buy extra's to give away as they make great gifts etc. It is so nice to see your own work professionally laid out and bound into a book . The feeling is hard to describe, but I'll say it's good for the ego. Don't forget, I (and you from the sound of it) came from a generation where we could only dream of being lucky enough to have our work published by some big company who deemed our work worthy. Now, we can self-publish on the cheap, whether our work is total crap or great

For framing, shipping is expensive and frames are delicate. The recently popular frame-less or metallic or even wood block prints are done by a lot of mail order places now, and available from some of our forum sponsors like Adorama, B&H, etc.

What a stunning picture. Kingfisher is one of my favourite birds and yours is one of the best captures I have seen in a long while.

Eric, thank you for all that good information. The gift idea is exactly what I have in mind, in particular I want to present my friend a nice print of his home. He has not seen that photo yet so I think he would like it. And yes you are right, I am of that generation. Here is my offering to match your strange plant...mine has feathers
