Thank you both. Glad that you like this series, there is still more to come.

When I visited Havana, I didn't want to limit myself to the usual tourist attractions and the (mostly) well restored historic quarter. So I just plunged randomly into the streets, away from the old town, trying to find the real Havana, and it was a soul-crushing experience at times. Definitely the most peculiar and haunting city that I have ever seen, Havana offers a punishing ride, equally beautiful and horrible, and often at the same time.

I'm enjoying the Havana series too!

Thanks, Biz. I may have overcompensated a little for the glare of the blazing sun.

I like all your work, but most particularly the less cheese-cakey ones where some aspect of the person other than her body is captured by your camera. Love this one for sure.

This is NOT my best picture. This was just a quick test I did for 15-20 pics to see the limitations of the camera. This is taken at 12 800 ISO. I think it holds up quite good. Just some minor edits like contrast etc

Thanks. I have been trying to do more intimate close up shots along with the standard fashion/glamour looks although those type of images don't always do as well on Instagram which is where I get most of my clients/models.

Trees and Mist (DA *55)

A Red Chair (DFA 24-70)

The second one feels dark to me, but I already brightened it a bunch in Lightroom (it was hand held after dusk) and when I go any brighter it felt like it detracted from the mood of the image.
