I see, you photographed your switchboard at home.

Not good,
the switchboard that is - the photo is fantastic.

Looking to the two preceding posts - go from a beautiful church to a dirty shop-vac - jarring transition to say the least.
Can't have the church looking all nice and clean without a shop vac. And I buffered him from a LeRolls stunner.

Took these as Hurricane Nate passed us...

This is with my Pentax M 35mm f2.8 lens. I always liked the colors on this lens, and it's bitingly sharp in center, but the bokeh can be harsh at small apertures, (I think it's because the bokeh is just too sharp?) Second pic below is an example of this, but it does also give it that 3D feel, at least in the original.

Gotta love how flickr reads exif for an old lens... it had a 50/50 shot and got it right this time.

Thought I'd best mention that for the geographically challenged amongst us.

Yes it was me. I asked him if I could post a moon shot. He said : "If I show my tail, you can, if I don't, you can't !" I said : "Ok !"

Still nectar here?

Inspired by the discussion on

and eaglem's flowers and bees, at the opposite end of seasons, I took camera, flash and diffuser and found this next to our neighbour's house:

A honey bee probing for nectar. Likely one of the last 1:1 bee-on-flower shots for this year.

I posted some more from this "session" in Pollinators in action - Page 22 - PentaxForums.com.
