Seven Day Monochrome Challenge.

I've just finished a seven day monochrome challenge given to me from a fellow Pentax friend (but not from these forums). The guidelines were typical of these affairs, take a new pic each day (it can't be an old pic) and have it either taken in camera as B&W or PP to monochrome.
I found it fun, and actually challenging in terms of deciding what to shoot that day (as I didn't want it to be any old rubbish). I wanted a varied assortment, not too much of the same thing, but then it was also challenging in finding time in getting to the shoot, doing the shoot and then the post processing time. With day to day life commitments it was actually pretty hard to complete! Normally my shooting experience is more like taking a few hundred shots on a special day outing, and then culling 80% and processing 20% over the course of the week (at my leisure). It's quite a different thing altogether to actually shoot every day (or at least I found it was).

Without further delay here are the results;

Day One of the Seven Day Monochrome Challenge.
Scout (one of my cats).

Day Two of the Seven Day Monochrome Challenge.
75.

Day Three of the Seven Day Monochrome Challenge.
Leura Cascades in the Blue Mountains in full flow.

Day Four of the Seven Day Monochrome Challenge.
A selfie... of sorts.

Day Five of the Seven Day Monochrome Challenge.
Train Trails.

Day Six of the Seven Day Monochrome Challenge.
Rick & Judith (of The Walking Dead but of course!)

Day Seven of the Seven Day Monochrome Challenge.
A newly arrived Pentax KP with DA 15mm HD Limited attached.

I'm enjoying the Havana series too!
There are still some more pictures remaining from this series, here's a few of them.

cross post from the Bokeh Club ...

Recently I said I should make more pictures using K-1 and M1.7/50. Nice evening today. So I took this combo and my beloved novoflex travel triopod and went out to photograph in the street. An open aperture serie ... first one using catch in focus function.

Don’t remember that one, this was with “Good Lady” not my “Mistress”, so I could have been closer.
