I've just finished a seven day monochrome challenge given to me from a fellow Pentax friend (but not from these forums). The guidelines were typical of these affairs, take a new pic each day (it can't be an old pic) and have it either taken in camera as B&W or PP to monochrome.
I found it fun, and actually challenging in terms of deciding what to shoot that day (as I didn't want it to be any old rubbish). I wanted a varied assortment, not too much of the same thing, but then it was also challenging in finding time in getting to the shoot, doing the shoot and then the post processing time. With day to day life commitments it was actually pretty hard to complete! Normally my shooting experience is more like taking a few hundred shots on a special day outing, and then culling 80% and processing 20% over the course of the week (at my leisure). It's quite a different thing altogether to actually shoot every day (or at least I found it was).
