Few more pictures from the streets of Havana.

In the first picture it seemed interesting to me the contrast between the (lack of) mobility of the man with the walking frame and that of the children playing with the ball from behind him.

With the second picture I was intrigued by how different those two schoolgirls reacted: the very moment I pointed the camera towards them, one made the victory sign while the other one instantly hid her face. I couldn't decide between monochrome and color so I posted both versions. I guess I like the color one a bit more.

... and the last one is just a man taking a nap on a bench.

For the two girls, color is better: 1) the girl's fingers making a "V," and to some extent her face are lost against the background in B&W; 2) in color, the identical skirts are more obvious and therefore the fact that they are in school uniform is instantly apparent.

Thanks Bruce and everyone. I deliberated on this one whether to mask out the shadow or leave it in... I decided to leave it in and accentuate it as a human element in the vast vista of Estrahorn:

The lone Light capturer: An ode to all those that brave the elements with grit and passion....

Frederic, love the 2nd & 3rd photos; the goat is the selfie & Miss Daisy the jersey cow is my lady friend.
LeRolls, pure seduction, super nice shot & a very fine model.
K-amps, that first photo has a special composition, love that shot.
Norm, most definitely still pretty.
Here is a shot of the barn; a local roller coaster road; Natchez says "give me the keys, I can drive this thing"; a neighbors barn yard.
Best Regards, Bob
The dog looks fun

x-post from the bokeh club ...

Streetwalk today with an experimental Macro Kit.

I love to experiment!
You know that the M1.7/50 works perfectly with DA TC1.4x without vignetting?
And if you combine this kit with an achromat you get something like an optical macro lens M2.4/70?

Some pictures … K-1 - [DA TC1.4x : M1.7/50 : Marumi Achromat +3 : metal hood]

... dng developed in Capture One Pro.

Not to mention the primary blue van and yellow skirts colours contrast well together.

Love the first one (especially), the bokeh and crisp leaf edge.

Now you know how I feel!

Nice set Frederic, I really like the stylized bike shop... and enjoy your consistent quality and variety. I don't know how you keep up the pace.

K-1 and DFA 100 Macro with HD DA 1.4 TC
Before you ask, at these settings the 100 macro and 1.4TC work just fine on the K-1.

After ripping out the old tomato plants I found this little guy bravely facing the cold weather. I believe it is a lobelia. No idea where it came from. I think that I am going to pot it and bring it in for the winter,

I used my new Rokinon 100mm macro for both shots. I find the contrast of the lens to be a bit low, but easily corrected in post processing. The recent sale price was just too good to pass up.
