Topaz Studio Trial-Flowers

Been trying out Topaz Studio & plug-ins for a few days now. Probably overdid it on these flowers a bit. Going to take some practice, but I think I'm going to like Topaz.

I also am using the Topaz studio and like some of the offerings. A few are a bit over the top for me, but some are useful such at the paint options. Enjoy.

livestock pictures

Wow, so many really good photos posted on the last four pages.
Eric, perhaps I have found my calling: livestock portraits...
A goat that thinks it is as handsome as Otis; then it wants me to take it for a ride.
A guinea hen that made lots of noise; and a proud rooster.
Best Regards, Bob

Great set Bob. Ya never know where you'll find your nich, heh. Well, that is a handsome goat, but he's not as delusional as Otis who thinks he is the Hugh Heffner of the forest.

Looking at this set I'm reminded of a quote from a high brow movie classic...

"I don't want to be a pie! I don't like gravy."

Ok ok, I'm laying off the brandy and crawling back under my rock.
Eric

Interesting what is possible to do with old and small lenses.

I can see the top is darker, did you use an ND grad or did you darken the sky area in post?

In post, Lightroom to be exact. As a "Fine Art" photographer I always PP my photos to achieve a certain look. I also have to compensate as I don't yet possess any filters. Next purchase hopefully

As a previous Nikon 14-24mm owner, I can honestly say it out performs this well renowned lens and at about a third of the price.
