Fellow Topaz user here. I tend to launch Topaz from LR rather than use their Studio. I fire the raw file up with LR, make some base adjustments (Iris Enhance, Highlights, Shadows etc) and then typically end up with visiting 'Topaz Clarity' for shots taken wide open. I usually punch the subject out more (with something like 'House & Lawn' or 'Micro Boost 1') and then use Mask feature to revert everything else (except the subject matter) back to how it was before (Edge Aware is very useful).

Here's an example, a before and after (Topaz on the right);

I also enjoy the Topaz B&W as well, has a large set of presets some of which I find are great straight outta the box. I also like to use the Transparency tool to bring a low level of colour and saturation back into the picture whilst then using Local Adjustments to 'colour' the main subject/s back to full colour, makes for an interesting colour pic whereby the subject matter is a tad more punchy.

Great pics ZeGaby
I do some of the same with raw to Jpeg using Aperture. Afterwards, I use some of the tools in Topaz. There are so many options it is an endless pallet of tools to work with. I end up producing several images from the original each with a different look. Her is one for example

Irix f2.4 15mm 20 X multi exposure. This lens is insanely good!
I agree. I lock the focal distance/F-stop to 8 ft at F/8.0 on the Irix for landscape shooting and never have to touch the focus all day! ;-)

I think my FA F/2.8 20mm is feeling a bit unloved these days. ;-)

Jokulsarlon: Ice glacier Lagoon

A first for me. The Aurora, Galactic core, Icebergs and reflection, all in one shot . Very grateful that I got the chance.

Some shots with the DA*60-250 in FF mode last Friday. We visited the local zoo with my sister and nephew. It was a gloomy day with rain and off. That is has been the pattern around here for the last month.

acoufap, those are good moon shots.
Mike.P, nice photos, nice dog.
K-amps, that is a superb & unbelievable capture. I would call that a once in a life time shot.
hangma43, like the sharpness & color in that fiddle shot.
Scorpio71GR, very good zoo photos Michael, love the detail.
Best Regards, Bob
