So, where are you? That kind of bark is so familiar.
I'm in the old Turkish cemetery at the Mosque of Murad Reis, Rhodes, Greece.

Stopped on my way home to snap this -- I drive past it everyday, but with the days getting shorter, the sun keep getting closer to the horizon. I wanted to snap this before they start harvesting

I remember Bailey, he left an impression and was a looker, as is your new adorable pup.
The new journey begins, may you enjoy many happy years getting to know each other!

Neat perspective. That 20mm seems pretty good controlling distortion, considering the angle upwards, or did you have to correct much in post? Either way, still a neat shot.

water over the stones

Frederic, very well said...
Noel, lovely pup, look forward to seeing plenty of photos of the new fuzzy family member.
Here are a few shots taken in the forest of some small water falls. The last shot is my favorite.
Best Regards, Bob

Great set Bob, but I'm kinda partial to the third one

Thanks! No distortion correction at all in this one - I needed every pixel

I think the A20 controls distortion well and is reasonably sharp across the frame. And it is very small for what it is. For me that makes it a far "better" lens than a DFA15-30.

Yep, the third one for me, too. I think maybe the extra context gives more depth. And the tree trunk "sentinels" on either third are nice.

Gloomy wet days make for table-top "studio" (=basement) photography. Two saucers that have matching tea cups.
