A couple of thematically unrelated BW shots: the wedding party and ribbons of concrete.
Enjoy the tones in both of these, very nice.

Cheers,

there's a lot of buzz around the new D850, and it looks great. Darn though, I love my K1. Held over on medium format film until now, K1 brought me over.
The K1 is a very nice camera, I've been enjoying mine. BTW, nice picture of the Plymouth....in what looks like the north end of Winnipeg.

Some very nice pictures Jean. I particularly like the one of the car speeding down the avenue in the night.

golden rainy day

Plenty of superb photos posted by all, especially the B&W shots.
Eric, your flower photos sure bare resemblance to Mr. fs shots...just saying
Frederic, your sets have been great & I love eggs.
StephenHampshire, those are fantastic train photos with the moon, real nice work.
KIRKMB, really like the old Plymouth photo, sure brings back a ton of memories.
Here is a shot on a rainy day, a wee bit different from my normal type.
Best Regards, Bob

No, no ! For 200mm lenses, I only use hot butter

1. FF Mode • 100 ISO • Pentax DA* 200mm F2.8 ED SDM

2. FF Mode • 400 ISO • Pentax DA* 200mm F2.8 ED SDM

3. FF Mode • 400 ISO • Pentax DA* 200mm F2.8 ED SDM
Beautiful shots all, FS, but the first has a special magic.

It does look nice. In that part of the city with it's older housing...a B+W picture would look like a photo taken back in the '50's...with an older license plate on the car. That Plymouth look relatively stock, not hot rodded. I note there is a little badge atop the license plate, which I think indicates the owner is part of a provincial car club for vintage stockers.

Nice pix thanks for posting.

Hey, I think the expression goes "if you are going to steal, steal from the best", heh.

I like the picture window feel, looking through the leaf boarder. Nice.
